The tantalizing T-tempting Temptations

This performance was fantastic. I have been a fan since 1965 when I first heard "My Girl." I first saw the Temps in concert in 1969 (after replacing David with Dennis & releasing Cloud 9). They were mesmerizing then, and they are mesmerizing now. Last Saturday was a 90-minute journey back down Memory Lane. Their steps and dances are still precise and graceful. They did not have to build a connection with the audience because it was already there--personal and friendly. And, their voices were a melodious mixture of perfect harmony from falsetto to bass. They did not have to use gimmicks, their showmanship was more than enough. Practically every song was a sing-a-long. And, to top off a magical evening, the legendary Mr. Otis Williams--Mr. Temptation himself--was on stage. Enough said.
